« PROJECT » GLASS HANDLING SYSTEM

« DESCRIPTION » New Glass tube handling system designed and built to interface with a rotary glass forming machine and an annealing oven. The system includes:
- A tray handling system, whereby trays full with components are indexed under a pick-and-place gripper mechanism.
- Component insertion into the Glass forming machine.
- Component tracking and sampling.
- Un-loading of the forming machine and placement of the component into a ceramic Puck.
- A ceramic puck handling system for inserting pucks through the annealing oven.
- A component un-load system for taking components from the forming machine and placing them into pucks.

« DESCRIPTION » Tablet dispensing with vibratory bowl and linear feeder
with a pneumatically-operated escapement mechanism.
The system was incorporated into an existing production
line, together with an inspection and verification vision system.
